New: Inpaint Remix on DeepMode 🤯

Hey everyone!

We are happy to announce Inpaint Remix on DeepMode. So before anything, please check out this video tutorial:

In today’s newsletter edition, you will learn how to use the new Inpaint feature on DeepMode Remix. Follow these simple steps to create amazing results containing 2 or even more of your models!

Step 1: Choose Your Model

1. Go to the Playground: Start by navigating to the Playground section on DeepMode..
2. Select Remix: Once you’re in the Playground, choose the Remix option.

Step 2: Upload or Select an Image

1. Upload an Image: You can either upload your own image or choose one from the gallery.
2. Example Image: For this tutorial, let’s take an image of two girls kissing.

Step 3: Modify the Prompt

  1. Similarity: The default here is 0.5 which is a good place to start, but play around with it to see the differences. 0.1 means more similarity to your model and 1.0 means more similar to the reference image.

  2. Change the Prompt: Update the prompt to better guide the AI. For example, change it to “Woman kissing”.

  3. Settings: If you want your result to have the exact same pose as the reference image, make sure you enable “Copy Pose”. For this example we don’t want to keep the exact same pose, We want to see different varieties and choose the best one.

Copy Pose vs. Not Copy Pose

Click Remix: Hit the Remix button and wait for the AI to generate the results.

Step 4: View and Use the Initial Results

1. Check the Results: Once the results start to show, you will see the AI has placed the same model in both positions. It’s cool but we don’t want that, we want to place another model here. So we copy this image and use it on another model with inpaint.
2. Copy the Image: Copy this image result to use in the next step.

Step 5: Select a New Model

  1. Choose a New Model*: For further editing, let’s choose a different model.

  2. Go to Remix: Navigate back to the Remix section and paste the image you copied earlier. (you can also download and then upload)

Step 6: Inpaint the Image

1. Mask the Character: Slowly paint over the character in the image that you want the AI to replace. Make sure to be precise in masking the area.
2. Submit the Mask: Once you’re done masking, either click submit or close the window.

Step 7: Generate the Final Image

  1. Create Remix Again: Click the Remix button again to generate the final image.

  2. View Results: Wait for the AI to process and see the new character replaced in the image.

  3. Fine-Tune: If you didn’t like the result for some reason, make sure you adjust the “similarity” bar, Change the prompt by adding weights, or change the negative prompt.

Final Notes:

This feature can also be used to fix hands, change outfits, or replace a person in the image.
