DeepMode Lighting Tips
Hey Deepmoders,
Today I thought I'd share a few tips on lighting your images using Deepmode
Watch the video or read on to find out more.
Lighting is so important, in imagery, to help portray a desired emotion. Before I even start thinking about smaller details I think about the emotion I want to express.
We can use lighting to help feed the viewer a certain mood. For instance, images with dull lighting tend to feel more serious and dramatic while brighter images feel positive.
With text-to-image generation, it's useful to learn lighting terms used in photography. Terms such as "rim light", "key light" etc are basic lighting techniques that can make a big difference to your output.
Even broad terms such as "expert cinematography" or "cinematic lighting" can help elevate your results above the default outputs.
Outdoor lighting terms such as "golden hour" or "overcast" work well.

You can take advantage of a wide range of different techniques, and I'd recommend doing a little more research into photography lighting methods to find your favorite styles.
Why not try these techniques yourself and make your own Farah images at Deepmode.
